Every ingredient, explained
Shea Butter
Shea butter is full of skin-loving fatty acids + antioxidants to moisturize skin and help reduce inflammation.
Apricot Oil
Apricot Oil is deeply moisturizing and works as an emollient to soften skin, thanks to its high concentration of antioxidants and fatty-acids.
Sunflower Oil
Sunflower Oil is high in Vitamin E and fatty-acids like linoleic acid that have anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps to smooth and soften skin.
Sugar
It wouldn't be a sugar scrub without sugar of course! Sugar works to exfoliate the skin and buff dead skin away. It works with the butters above to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.
Cetyl Alcohol
Cetyl Alcohol is a gentle fatty alcohol that helps to soften skin and acts as an emulsifier in the formulation.
Emulsifying Wax
Emulsifying wax is a blend of cetearyl alcohol and polysorbate-60. Cetearyl alcohol is an emollient which works with polysorbate-60 to emulsify and stabilize the butters, oils, and sugars when mixed with the water from your shower/bath.
Fragrance
All of our fragrances are phthalate- and cruelty-free. We follow all safety guidelines set by the IFRA on usage percentages.
Optiphen
Optiphen is a natural, broad-spectrum preservative that is both paraben- and formaldehyde-free.
Mica and FD&C Dyes
Mica and FD&C Dyes and Lakes are used in very small amounts to provide colors to our products.
